Why Is Jewish Liberation Racist?
why don’t Arabists want Jews to achieve Liberation from Islamic oppression
“I am a victim of oppression and occupation.” — Leila Khaled, justifying her terrorism.
“If we have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we’d rather be alive and have a bad image.” — Golda Meier, signatory of Israel’s Declaration of Independence.
Golda Meier valued and fought for life. She didn’t seek martyrdom or glory, she wanted to save her people from oppression. Unlike Leila Khaled, Meier decided she didn’t need to hijack any planes to liberate her people. Meier, who said there’s not a Palestinian people, there are Palestinian refugees, was a 1906 Russian Jewish refugee who spent her childhood in Milwaukee and then lived in the British Mandate for Palestine from 1921 forward. Golda Meier considered herself a Palestinian prior to the birth of Israel.
In response to the famous misrepresentation of her statement about Palestinians, Meier wrote the following in a 1976 NYT OpEd.
Now, two years after the surprise attack of the Yom Kippur War, I am well aware of the potency of Arab petro-billions and I have no illusions about the moral fiber of the United Nations, most of whose members hailed gun-toting Yasser Arafat and shamefully passed the anti-Semitic resolution that described Zionism, the national liberation movement of the Jewish people, as racist. — Golda Meier
Hamas believes that Eretz Yisrael belongs to Muslims. Leila Khaled and the PFLP don’t agree, they simply see dismantling Israel and destroying Jews as anti establishment and social justice for the people. Naturally, Samidoun and useless western idiots, the CRT afficianados, see their opportunity to dismantle whiteness + end white supremacy + decolonise by organising anti-Zionist campaigns and inciting a global intifada. These are all reiterations of The Final Solution, BTW.
Can disaffection liberate human beings? Can hostility, resentment, seditiousness, rebellion, and disunity liberate human beings? No they cannot—these behaviour remove liberty from human beings, they exist under the umbrella of cowardice. Remember what Gandhiji said about cowardice and nonviolence? Take a moment and refresh your memory by reading yesterday’s Substack.
“Non-violence is the summit of bravery. It has no room for cowardice or even weakness…there is hope for a violent man to be some day non-violent, but there is none for a coward.” —The Message of Mahatma Gandhi
Okay so, do you need me to write it out for you?
Fear and hate based behaviour strategies will not achieve a nonviolent peace because cowardice can never lead us to non-violence. We require bravery to have non-violent peace. When we sit in motionless silence and watch chaos-makers stir disunity thru seditious means, through emotional manipulation, through information operations, and other dishonest means, when we watch hate mongers and do nothing—in all of these instances we end up sewing land mines in our human society that will erupt in the unknown future and harm individuals and societal progress. Think of physical landmines in the post war period in war zones.
Regarding university encampments, in Canada some say, if we just ride this out, don’t take any drastic action and wait til things calm down then we can achieve a peaceful resolve, this is free expression you know. Okay, let’s unpack that statement, shall we?
Firstly, illegally blocking Jews and Zionists from entering any public space, calling for intifada, claiming Zionism is racism by conflating it with Kahanism, claiming Israel is a pariah state — that’s not free expression because its propaganda and inciting hatred, forms of speech which limit individual freedom. Secondly, allowing bullies to abuse other people and places and to exploit and disrupt the functioning of institutions injects harm and therefore trauma into society. Thirdly, the Charter states reasonable limits on rights and freedoms as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society. Suppressing a mob engaging in and inciting antisemitic hatred constitutes a reasonable limit in a free and democratic society. How do you solve oppression by creating more oppression? That’s a hostage exchange not a hostage release, to use a metaphor.
How it Started (right hand image): Rabbi Moshe Hagerman a Jewish municipal chief judge in Poland, on July 31, 1940, being abused by German soldiers who are forcing him to pray for their amusement. This image was later identified by people who survived the war and the incident, as an image from the Bloody Wednesday of Olkusz.
How it Ended (left hand image): IDF soldier Lieutenant Asael Lubotzky from the esteemed Golani Infantry Brigade prays with tefillin in the 2006 Lebanon War after the Battle of Bint Jbeil, photographed by Yoav Lemmer.

Purity of motive doesn’t compensate for impurity of means. It isn’t peace if you bully your victims into silent submission, it’s oppression. It isn’t peace or tolerance when you pretend that a massacre and hostage taking never happened. It isn’t peace or tolerance when you deny Israelis their collective self defense. It isn’t peace or tolerance when you lie and castigate the rescuing and retrieving of hostages and as genocide. It isn’t liberation when you blame Israelis for the failure of Arab and Muslim leadership. It isn’t liberation when you choose to side with the Iranian Regime, which executed 853 civilians in 2023, many of them young dissidents peacefully protesting for freedom from the barbaric regime ruling over them, for better living conditions.
Iran's stance has always been clear on this ugly phenomenon (Israel). We have repeatedly said that this cancerous tumor of a state should be removed from the region. No one will allow a bunch of thugs, lechers and outcasts from London, America and Moscow to rule over the Palestinians. — Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
Why do so many think Jewish self determination and Jews standing up for themselves is racist and offensive and an affront to dignity? It sounds like Islamists and radical Muslims and Arabists still think Jews should not be allowed to have a donkey, or to wear shoes or to have nice things. Well these people need to cope because those days have long passed. Am Yisrael Chai.
