The Dishonest YouGov Poll About a Hateful Decision to Ban Israelis From a UK Sporting Event
why are the Midland Police afraid of antisemitic Muslims who seek to ban Israelis from a football match? why is the Muslim world so fanatically hateful towards Jews and Israel?
UK MP Ayoub Khan, who lobbied for the Aston Villa ban of Israelis, feels pleased with the decision of the Aston Villa, whilst MP Zarah Sultana wants an outright ban on Israeli football teams in the UK.
Why do Muslims hate Israelis so intensely? Why do Muslims worship their grievances and their hatred? It strikes me as a poisonous way to live one’s life. It strikes me as the opposite of pious and G-d fearing. How can anyone who claims a religious identity and belief in G-d find space for G-d in themselves with a hate-infested heart and mind?
“No one should be stopped from watching a football game simply because of who they are,” a government spokesperson said.
The UK-based international online research data and analytics technology group called YouGov decided to conduct a poll of Britons to determine whether or not they agreed with the decision announced by Aston Villa to ban Israeli fans from the football match next month. YouGov selected a sample of 6,810 people to survey. They announced their results on Xwitter yesterday.
“Britons tend to think it was the right decision to ban fans of Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv from attending a match against Aston Villa next month, a fixture classified by West Midlands Police of being ‘high risk’” — YouGov on Xwitter
Look at the poll results above, reader. What do you see?
I’ll tell you what I see when I look at these results. I see 28 + 30 percent = 58% of those polled think it’s the wrong decision or don’t know. When I look at YouGov’s survey methodology I see an organisation that selects its survey sample, not random sampling. YouGov does a thing called active sampling, where “… restrictions are put in place to ensure that only the people contacted are allowed to participate. This means that all the respondents who complete YouGov surveys will have been selected by YouGov, from our panel of registered users, and only those who are selected from this panel are allowed to take part in the survey … YouGov has carefully recruited a panel of millions of people to take part in our surveys. Panel members are recruited from a host of different sources, including via standard advertising, and strategic partnerships with a broad range of websites.”
So, a polling company in the UK has a carefully selected panel for public opinion research, and it selected a sample from those recruited panelists, and then they conduct this poll, with a biased question which heavily favours an outcome in favour of the Judenrein ban from a football match, then they tell me that their poll sample represents Britons in a significant way?
Really? REALLY?
That’s disingenuous. It’s also dangerous, in this case. Such skewed and shoddy public opinion research influences the public opinion it says it’s captured; it will justify the decision to ban Israelis from the game at the Aston Villa next month, it will drive antisemitism up further, it will put Jews at more risk than they currently face. The question asks if Britons agree with the decision to bank a high risk fan group from a sports venue. They’ve effectively designated Maccabi Tel Aviv away fans as dangerous.
Here’s a poll from yesterday’s Daily Mail. Sample size 40,573.
Do you see the difference in the questions posed? The Daily Mail asked a straightforward neutral question. “Should Israeli football fans be banned from watching their team play in Birmingham?” Now, it bears mentioning that this poll doesn’t just represent the opinions of Britons—it represents the opinions of online Daily Mail readers who opted into the poll.
Those who justify the Judenrein decision of the UEFA point to the violence in Amsterdam at the time of the Europa League match between Ajax and Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv. You know what’s interesting about this, reader? Nearly a year ago, the Dutch court convicted four adult males and one male youth for violent attacks against Israeli football fans.
The court said that there was a lot of video evidence showing Maccabi fans facing extreme violence, and also pointed to footage of supporters pulling down Palestinian flags as well as chanting slogans against Arabs. Taxis were also vandalised by the fans.
The court chairman added that there had already been unrest in the Netherlands because of the war in Gaza.
While the court took “the context” of the events into account, it said there had been “no justification for calling for and using physical violence against Israeli supporters”. — BBC, 24.12.2024
Chief prosecutor René de Beukelaer … [said] there were instances of antisemitism exchanged on a messaging group.
“I can well understand that the Jewish community in Amsterdam was left afraid because of this violence, but that’s different from saying that was the goal of the suspects,” he told Amsterdam’s AT5 TV channel earlier this month.
So, let’s see if I have got this right. The UEFA, the Aston Villa club, and the Midlands Police have decided to ban Israelis from the football match taking place next month in Brummy because of violence perpetrated against Israeli football fans in Amsterdam last year? UK Muslims, including MPs, have lobbied these organisations hard to implement what amounts to a Judenrein policy because why, exactly? Because they hate Jews, and they hate Israelis even more? Because they believe their community lacks the self control to restrain themselves in the presence of Israeli football fans?
Does it make sense to tell a particular nationality of people they can’t attend a football game because the police can’t offer them protection? Really?
Sorry, Israelis, you can’t come to the football match and watch your team play because the radical bad faith actors Muslim community want to physically attack you.
So, Midlands Police can’t protect Israeli fans and they can protect the Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv players? How’s that working, exactly?
Reader, to what degree do we need to fear the extreme hatred of Israelis? Do we now have to cancel sporting events because the Islamists lack self control and refuse to act like civilised people? Do we remember Munich, reader?
When will we get serious about this violent threat?

Can the Muslim community reality not take responsibility for its hateful actions and behaviour? Why not? Does the Muslim community lack the humility and fortitude to conduct self examination, when it comes to antisemitism and deep seated hatred of Israelis? Why? Are we all gonna sit back and watch the antisemitic voices in the Muslim community invoke “Islamophobia” in response to questions about antisemitism in the Muslim world? Why?
Remember that the Muslim Brotherhood concocted “Islamophobia” as a way to ward off criticism of Islam, and shut down any serious conversation about extremism in the Muslim world. Remember Islam has always existed as a colonial project, (a conquering imperialist force), since its inception.
Remember that Christianity originated from the Levant, Anatolia, North America — Augustine came from and Algeria and lived in Tunisia, Athanasius came from Egypt, so did Origen. Tertullian came from Tunisia.
Remember that the Hagia Sophia was a Byzantine cathedral before Muslims conquered it and turned it into a mosque. Remember the Al-Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock sit atop the holiest site in Judaism and that for hundreds of years Muslims have done their best to prevent Jews from praying at their holiest site. Remember that the inspiration for Nazi yellow star badges for Jews came from the Muslim empire.
Remember that men trained by Goebbels escaped to the Middle East when the Third Reich collapsed, and they worked in information ministries, developing anti Israel and anti Jewish propaganda. Remember that the current head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, wrote a dissertation on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a propaganda piece denigrating Jews created by the Russian empire.

Remember that, when progressives speak of “decolonisation,” they mean their own version of colonialism, which involves destroying culture, subverting societal norms, and segregating society based on their narcissistic vision of humanity. That’s why progressives embrace Islam, because they hate themselves and they’re society. Perhaps learn about the Iranian Revolution and what happened to the progressives who collaborated with the Ayatollah’s Islamist movement to overthrow the Shah. Spoiler alert: they died. The Islamists lied and the progressives died. Remember Cinema Rex.
Arm yourself with knowledge, lest you get swept up into the Islamist propaganda and join the memetic crisis of violence. Oh yeah, that reminds me, go study René Girard’s memetic theory.
May we have wiser. May we have courageous. May we be safe from violence. May we be spared from the threat posed by haters.
Shabbat Shalom.
