Smart Jewish DNA Isn't A Thing
could we not do this? a post about "brain worms"
I logged onto Facebook this morning and saw in my timeline this YouTube video with a question, “does anyone know anything about this?”
Kobutori Jiisan or The Lump, a classic pioneering animation short from 1929, tells the story of a woodman with a lump on his jaw who encounters magical forest creatures with big noses who dance around a fire and who remove the lump when the woodman’s dancing pleases them. Goblin like creatures appear in folklore across cultures and regions. A circulating theory links Goblins and Tengu and other such folklore characters to Jewish people, the implication being that mythical villain characters with large noses and magical powers represent Jews and we should see this as antisemitic, or somehow about Jews.
I had never heard the Kobutori story before. I decided to conduct some research. When I did some poking around, I saw the acronym JJCAT, Japanese-Jewish Common Ancestry Theory. I saw this Times of Israel blog post by a Japanese man named Kenta Uchida, who claims that his family has ancestral links to the tribes of Israel. “Japan is a country created by ancient Jews from the ancient Silk Road. I think the secret is that the Jewish smart DNA boasts the world’s third largest GNP,” wrote Uchida in his TOI blog post from October 2020. In a second blog post on October 7, 2020 Uchida wrote:
In an urgent need, we support Trump and his fellow Bibi, who are confronting the Devil Deep State.
In Japan, the Deep State has been in power for a long time after the world war2,
so it is necessary to change the government to “Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan”.
I like Putin because he is a Rothschild agent and cheers for Trump.
It seems that Kim Jong Un of North Korea is dead, but from the perspective of studying abroad in Switzerland,
he looks like a Rothschild agent, so I like North Korean Japanese.
It seems that South Korea is now under the control of North Korean forces, and the former Joseon sect has already immigrated to Japan before the war.
Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is said to be a descendant of Joseon Lee.
It seems that he is already exposed to Bibi, and when he had dinner at Bibi’s private residence, shoes and tableware were used.
As long as I’m rude like this, I’m afraid that Prime Minister Abe is Korean Japanese. ..
Would you please help the Japanese, who have the same Jewish blood, to end the deep state rule using Goyim Korean descent?
Koreans have a good excuse to say that they have the same roots as the Japanese, but they have been overrun by different ethnic groups,
including Mongolia, and have become Goyim. — Kenta Uchida, TOI, October 7, 2020
Okay. Wow. I … I … Rothschild … Bibi and Trump … Devil Deep State. What did I just walk into and why am I here? Times of Israel, are you okay?? What does one say in response to this? Nothing. When I see Rothschild and Smart Jewish DNA and Deep State and I am outta there because brain worms are not my friend, readers! Did the Times of Israel get hacked, maybe, Mister Pea asked when I read him that excerpt? Interestingly, Uchida wrote two blog entries about the JJCAT and then never appeared on the TOI again. Apparently Israeli ambassador Eli Cohen went to Japan in 2004 to visit Shingo. The state of Israel intended to show gratitude for friendship and connection between the two countries and not to endorse any conspiracy theory about Jesus Goes to Japan.
Dr. Jenichiro Oyabe claimed that the Japanese Emperor descended from the tribe Gad, one of the twelve tribes of Israel.
When I explore this connection about the Hebrew origins of Japan, I see evidence of a desire for the conspiracy theory to be real. Do we really want everything to be connected to everything else the way our limited minds see it, so desperately that we are willing to dispense with reason to have that cool story?
There’s a great story about Jesus travelling to Japan and being buried in a place called Shingo. It sounds like the Japanese version of The Da Vinci Code, to be honest. Who would not want that story to be true? Jesus Goes to Japan sounds very cool to me. Also it sounds silly.
A Jewish Telegraph Agency piece from 1929 announced Japanese Author Traces Nippon Origin to Hebrew Race. I wonder out loud if the animation in the YouTube video above has any connection to Dr. Jenichiro Oyabe’s work? Who is Oyabe? According to Yujin Yaguchi, “Jenichiro Oyabe was a Japanese man who traveled to the United States in the end of the nineteenth century and studied at Hampton Institute and Howard University. His claim was that he attended these schools to learn about “how to educate the Ainu,” the indigenous population of northern Japan.” Oyabe wrote A Japanese Robinson Crusoe in 1898.
Who are the Ainu? The Ainu are an ancient indigenous peoples of Japan. You can read about them on the UNESCO site. According to a Heritage of Japan Wordpress, the term Ainu generally referred to the fair-skinned, long-haired hunter-gatherer-fishering people with animistic beliefs who had lived there for hundreds of years. The Ainu seem to have a genetic connection to Northeast Asia. They have a unique Y-DNA haploid for the region of Japan that fascinates genetic researchers, apparently.
Ultimately, confirmation bias is not your friend when doing research, and it’s best to try to disprove the connection between the things rather than look for evidence that your conspiracy theory is right. Because disproving a connection provides you with more intellectually honesty, humility, and rigour. Because it is easy to take evidence and make it fit our hypothesis when we really have a severe case of bias.
What if we focussed on reality and real problems, rather than make up problems to focus on? The need to create these elaborate manmade theories of everything muddies the waters a lot. When I asked
about the Japanese Jewish Common Ancestry Theory, he confirmed no DNA evidence exists to support it. Wishful thinking can play a powerful role in distorting our perceptions of people and situations. Think for yourself and avoid projecting too much meaning onto anything in your search for answers about esoteric stuff. So, I took you down a weird jaunt down a strange intellectual rabbit hole. Let me recap what you should take away from this essay. The Yasuji Murata animated short Kobutori aka The Lump is a mythical folk story, the magical forest creatures are just that, they don’t symbolise Jews, there is no such thing as Smart Jewish DNA, Trump + Bibi are not the global messiah.
