Montreal Mayor Wants to Fine a Church for Holding a Worship Service Concert
Anarchist thugs join forces with pro Hamas thugs to block a Montreal church entrance whilst Montreal police watch and do nothing
I’m not a fan of Orange Man Bad. I don’t care about him that much, tbh. I find the excitement about him amongst Canadians, in either direction, overblown.
However some Canadians are psychotic with hate for OMB. It has turned their brain. Reader, worshipping a human is idolatry. Extreme hate and martyrdom of a human each constitute idolatry. Are you engaging in idol worship? Check yourself!
In Canada the government funded media has whipped up a false narrative about a previously unknown Christian worship leader and musician who’s touring Canada. Sean Feucht dares to be a Republican and he prayed over Trump at the White House a few years ago. So the wokerati mob decided he’s a “MAGA Superstar” now and they have whipped several cities into a frenzy and have gotten the cities to cancel permits for his outdoor concerts.
It all began in Nova Scotia when some censorious people, including Shannon Miedema, Liberal member of Parliament for Halifax, decided they wanted to cancel Feucht for his beliefs. Parks Canada cancelled his permit siting evolving safety and security considerations. Overnight Feuchts went from obscure and unknown Christian worship leader to a literal superstar, all because CBC and CTV made him one with their propaganda narrative about him! The government funded media stirred up so much animosity that it inspired a hater to use his car to crash Feucht’s tour bus! You can see the video below about the crash. At this point, until it’s proven otherwise, I believe the crash a targeted attack.
You can see the video below where Feuchts speaks to the French CBC. It’s hilarious, especially the French commentary from the bloke taking the video. Sarcasm in Québécois French is particularly amusing, reader.
Last night Feucht lead a worship service at Montreal church Ministerios Restauración Elise MR and the Montreal mayor tried to shut it down saying the church needed a permit. She sent the police. Anarchists showed up. Pro Hamas people showed up. They blocked the church entrance. The cops let them. One thug entered the church and threw a smoke bomb at Feucht, narrowly missing his head. Rebel News indicates that the Montreal have opened an investigation. The city has fined the Ministerios Restauración Elise MR $2,500 for going ahead with the concert, according to the CBC.
One question I have — was this a ticketed event, or a free one? If it was ticketed maybe a permit would be in order, I don’t know. However the city cancelled the concert based on some faulty reasoning — they cancelled it for political reasons, using safety and inclusivity as a shield. Because in Canada we only care about thought crimes now. Apparently “thought criminals” don’t get constitutional rights in this country.
Reader, note that Section 319(3)(b) states that No person shall be convicted of an offence under subsection (2), [Every one who, by communicating statements, other than in private conversation, wilfully promotes hatred against any identifiable group is guilty of …] hatred under the Criminal Code.
“if, in good faith, the person expressed or attempted to establish by an argument an opinion on a religious subject or an opinion based on a belief in a religious text …”
The service continued.
Feucht will continue touring and playing, and alternative venues are being offered for his services. A church in Toronto will host his worship service tomorrow night.
“Pastor Byron & his wife Amanda are the real heroes tonight in Montreal. When the city cancelled our permit (and kept our money), he opened his beautiful church. When the mayor tried to force him to stop worship IN HIS OWN CHURCH, he refused.” — Feucht
Reader, notice the pastor and his wife aren’t exactly “white”. Haters often brand Christianity as white, and that’s misleading. The majority of Christians in the world are non white. By 2015 non white people made up two thirds of Christians around the world! Anyway.
Facts are hard for the unintelligent progressive crowd. LOL.
I’ll remind readers of the law of the land. Section 176 of the Criminal Code states it’s unlawful to forcibly interrupt a worship service or threaten to do so. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees Canadians freedom of religion and assembly.
Criminal Code, Section 176
176 (1) Every person is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than two years or is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction who
by threats or force, unlawfully obstructs or prevents or endeavours to obstruct or prevent an officiant from celebrating a religious or spiritual service or performing any other function in connection with their calling, or
knowing that an officiant is about to perform, is on their way to perform or is returning from the performance of any of the duties or functions mentioned in paragraph (a)
(i) assaults or offers any violence to them, or
(i arrests them on a civil process, or under the pretence of executing a civil process.
Disturbing religious worship or certain meetings
(2) Every one who wilfully disturbs or interrupts an assemblage of persons met for religious worship or for a moral, social or benevolent purpose is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.
Idem
(3) Every one who, at or near a meeting referred to in subsection (2), wilfully does anything that disturbs the order or solemnity of the meeting is guilty of an offence.
Charter of Rights and Freedoms
Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law:
Guarantee of Rights and Freedoms
Rights and freedoms in Canada
1 The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.
Fundamental freedoms
2 Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:
(a) freedom of conscience and religion;
(b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;
(c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and
(d) freedom of association.
Freedom of peaceful assembly. Freedom of association. Freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression. These are fundamental rights guaranteed Canadians. I don’t see a disclaimer saying Christians aren’t entitled to these rights. I don’t see a disclaimer saying conservatives aren’t entitled to these rights. I see Everyone. I also see Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law.
Freedom isn’t free, reader. It comes at a cost.
NB. This isn’t about your political views or religious affiliation. I don’t give any fcuks what yours are. I don’t give any fcuks if Sean Feucht isn’t your jam. No one asked you, reader. It’s not about that. It’s about freedom of expression and belief and assembly. You shouldn’t be deciding who gets Charter rights based on the political views or religious affiliations of people or based on your personal preference whims.
Engage from your Zombie slumber, Canada.
And, if you’re even remotely Christian, don’t forget to go to church tomorrow. Fill the pews!
Questions that linger for me involve homophobia. I’m not big on religious homophobia and I’m not big on wokerati homophobia either. To be honest I find the GenderWang movement highly homophobic and misogynistic. Anyone in the trans movement heavily punishes lesbians for excluding straight men with an autoerotic fetish who demand to be validated by same sex attracted female people.
It’s devolved into a cult of collective abuse and rape apologia, and I vehemently oppose the QT attaching itself to the LGB for that reason. Body modification, sex changes and misrepresentating your reproductive class and forcing others to go along with your self delusion should not be human rights enshrined in the human rights code.
I know it’s a fine line to walk when it comes to LGB people and religious morality. Jesus didn’t reject or dehumanise anyone, remember that. Sodom and Gomorrah wasn’t about homosexuality. I think I’ve written about that Torah parsha actually.
I value freedom of belief and opinion and so I must uphold the right to religious belief and the right to be LGB and the also right to be QT without fear of persecution. If you can’t live your moral code without openly and publicly dehumanising others, and without calling for the cancellation and persecution of others, then you should pause and engage in self examination about yourself and how you wish to live your life in community with other Canadians.
It’s sometimes complex and uncomfortable to manage this dissonance and that’s what freedom and democracy entails and it costs to have a society based on freedom and democracy. It is what g-d calls us to do. It’s what followers of Jesus are required to do. I think we shouldn’t force anyone to adopt our belief and moral code — it cuts both ways, for religious people and for wokerati people. As Amy Hamm wrote, no one forces me or anyone to deep throat the moral culture of Sean Feucht, and the country has forced me and everyone else to deep throat the moral culture of the wokerati and QT cults.
Wow, I checked out the clip from the Lux media guy, yeah he really went to town on the Radio Canada woman and she was NOT happy. Wow. But yes an insane comment about needing a permit to worship in a church. Good for him to go hard on her.
This censorious shit cant stand.
These attacks on free speech and free association need to stop. Canada is in real trouble.
