The Grift That Keeps on Taking
the dishonesty of Sean Feucht and his rage farming media collaborators
Reader, don’t you hate it when people lie to and manipulate you? It’s become too commonplace these days, in Canada’s media landscape. Will the facts please stand up?
I’ll be blunt. Sean Feucht serves bullsh1t sandwiches. Reader, Sean Feucht = full of sh1t.
Let’s review the story Feucht and his media groupies told us.
Sean Feucht version :: “I was just firebombed INSIDE the church by antiFa mid-worship song!!!!! I dodged the bomb and we are still going!!!”
Factual version :: The video shows a smoke bomb or smoke grenade, not a fire bomb. Fire bombs start fires, the concert would have had to stop in the case of a fire bomb.
Rebel News version :: “… a visibly angry man stormed down the church aisle, pulled smoke bombs from his pockets, lit them on the spot, and hurled them directly at Sean Feucht's head in a shocking act of aggression.”
Factual version :: the guy didn’t look particularly “visibly angry”, he looked matter-of-fact and intent on his mission, (though it’s difficult to tell from that distance what emotion his racial expression showed), and he didn’t storm the aisle, in fact he stood at the far end of the aisle, and he didn’t light anything, he pulled a smoke grenade canister from his right pocket with his right hand, pulled the pin with his left hand, and threw the smoke grenade, then repeated the process. Then he exited the church in an orderly manner. How could anyone on stage at the front of the church see visible anger in someone standing at the back of the church? I’ll address the shocking act of aggression hyperbole below.
Sean Feucht version :: “I saw a guy who is clearly not a church person run down the aisle, a big fat guy in white, really angry, and he took the smoke bombs out of his pockets and lit them on the side, inside of the church during mid-worship song, and then chucked them right at my head.”
Factual reality :: how can we tell whether or not this guy is a “church person”? He didn’t run, he walked. He didn’t run down the aisle, he walked from the door to near the end of the aisle. He didn’t light the canisters, he pulled the pins on them. He didn’t throw it at Sean’s head. In fact, Sean seems not to notice when the smoke grenades get thrown a few feet from where he stood. Not exactly a shocking act of aggression.
Sean Feucht version :: “AntiFa ran inside the church … and threw 2 smoke bombs at my face whilst police watched!!”
Factual reality :: how do we know that guy belongs to or represents AntiFa? Smoke grenade guy doesn’t show any signs that he belonged to the AntiFa crowd that gathered outside the church, he’s not dressed like them. Were the police inside the nave of the church? It’s unclear from the video, I don’t see the police inside the church in the surveillance video clip.
Reader, isn’t it interesting to see less people inside the church, watching Sean Feucht play, than outside the church, protesting his presence and saying he didn’t belong in their neighbourhood.
“G-d trusted you wealth so you could give it away,” says one of Feucht’s lackeys, in a concert from 2023. Riiiiight. Whenever Sean Feucht et al hold a microphone they seem to need to ask for money. Weird how that happens, huh, reader?
Look at the screenshot above from the Montreal concert. Can you see the plea for money, reader? Thank you for investing in what g-d— … can you see the bottom part of a QR code and part of the email address give[at]burncanada—? Feucht’s Burn Canada receives donations through the Great Commission Foundation, a registered charity in Canada.
Sew a seed … give extravagantly … anything we can use for the kingdom … get behind what g-d’s doing across the world … give now otherwise the devil will talk you out of it.
Take a listen to what Steven Kozar from The Messed Up Church has to say about Sean Feucht and his Ministry.
Feucht wants to see the seeds of his revival with your money, reader! He’ll tell you some interesting fiction stories to convince you to give him your hard earned money. (Don’t do it!)
Reader, check out his ProPublica charity profile. Feucht has no shame, does he? Outrage farming pays big bucks. There are many drug dealers out there, preying on the masses. Some of the stand at near corner of Hastings and Main to sell their Up or Down, some of then run ads on Facebook peddling LSD and Cocaine and other Schedule 1 drugs, some cosplay worship leader and pretend to show you the way to Jesus. Outrage and victimhood have become the new crack. Reader, make discernment your friend.
MinistryWatch gives Sean Feucht Ministries a grade of F, meaning withhold giving, based on the following criteria.
The completion and public availability of a Form 990. The Form 990 highlights revenue, expenses, fundraising costs, and executive salaries. Form 990s have a great deal of information of interest to donors, though they are not a “gold standard” because this information is self-reported. If a ministry is classified as a church by the IRS, it is legally exempt from this requirement, but it is NOT morally and ethically exempt from being fully transparent with its donors and the public. ALL MINISTRIES should file a Form 990, regardless of their classification by the IRS.
The completion of an audited financial statement. Audited financial statements do not list executive salaries, but they have the advantage of being created by an independent accounting firm, thus giving donors and the public greater assurance that the numbers reported by management are accurate. (Reviewed financial statements are acceptable for ministries with annual revenue of less than $1-million.) The audited financial statements must be posted on the ministry’s website to get credit for this requirement.
Membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Members of the ECFA publicly commit to live up to the “Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship.”
Reader, it’s clear that Feucht has made an art of grifting and distorting the truth and exploiting the good will of people. He makes a killing rage baiting and misrepresenting reality with his brand of hyperbole. Everywhere he goes Feucht finds new victims and manages to divide communities as he tries to present himself as a persecuted victim of anti-Christian bigotry and government overreach.
The truth turns out far more nuanced and complex than he narrates it. Do your due diligence, many ring wing media outlets have taken Feucht’s bait and can’t seem to see his MO. Should we de-platform Feucht? I don’t know. He seems militant and extreme and unreasonable and dishonest. Should we elevate him to persecuted victim status? Definitely not.
