I Give Ezra Levant an Asshole Pass
independent media organisations that receive no taxpayer money take nothing from me, whereas as corporate media slurps from the taxpayer trough

I caught a bit of the legacy media elites whinging about Ezra Levant in the post-debate analysis. I’m intolerant to what I see as wanking. I don’t care about the insufferable moralising from elites in suits sitting at a cbc news desk, I’m over it, have felt over it for many years. Truly, that elitist crap needs to fcuk off now. That said, I give a few legacy media elites the same asshole pass I give Ezra, because these few do solid and valuable work in service to the country. So, it cuts both ways for me.
Robert Fife whinging about Ezra et al annoys me, it’s beneath him. And I give him an asshole pass for his investigative chops and the work on the PRC foreign interference.
There’s a difference here, though.
Ezra gets no taxpayer money for his work, as such he takes nothing from me, so idgaf about his antics. If you’re mad or annoyed at Ezra, then it tells me he’s effective in his trade and craft. Cope and seethe, reader. That’s the point — to get your goat. Ezra gets free advertising whenever the legacy elites rant and whinge about him from their taxpayer-funded throne room news desks. It’s comedy gold. As much as it irritates me, it amuses me more, when I reflect on it.
Anyway. Je ne sais rein du tout. I know nothing at all. I’m an asshole.
Anyway, I digress.
Reader, didn’t you ever watch public television as a young person? Remember the annoying segments where they try to get your money? Well, they’re not powered by advertising revenue, so they need to find a way to fund their programming. That’s fair, no ads for stupid sh1t that rots brains à la marketing brain-worms—just occasional fundraising drives. Operators are standing by, reader.
Similarly, I watch KEXP Listener-Powered radio on YouTube — they have free live performances and it’s where we discover cool new music and talented bands we’ve never heard of before. I totes don’t mind their reminders that they rely on my donations to operate. I subscribe to KEXP through YouTube, in fact. For my money I get early access to the live performances. I often forget and that’s okay, I pay a small fee for a service rendered. I subscribe to the Kings and Generals YouTube channel also, because the historical information they provide doesn’t exist in that accessible format anywhere else. You get what you pay for, don’t you, reader?
Anyway.
The fact remains that the state broadcaster in Canada has an operating budget double that of the of national security service. What am I getting for that bloated mass called the CBC? Fcuk all. I get fcuk all for my tax dollars from the CBC. I get sanctimonious gits sitting in their taxpayer-funded throne rooms, sermonising the peasantry and carrying delusional narratives from radicals. It’s worst than sermons in churches and tent revival meetings, reader. For my tax dollars I get rotting Laurentian Elitist garbage served as a healthy meal from corporate media.
I need a tin foil hat now, reader.
Fun Fact. Reader, I recently discovered that I can’t watch a documentary called China’s Digital Gulag, featured 6 years ago on The Passionate Eye — the documentary has been scrubbed. Why? Perhaps the fact that I can’t seem to find that documentary anywhere has nothing to do with the rising influence of the UFWD throughout the world. Perhaps it’s something else entirely. That’s possible. I don’t know, reader.
Anyway. Back to the main topic.
I don’t care what Ezra Levant does because he’s not taking anything from me, he’s not using mine and your tax dollars to fund his antics. He’s finding alternative ways other than begging the government to keep his operation afloat. Similarly with the other independent news outlets, they’re taking nothing from me because they don’t beg for taxpayer money whilst they perform their antics. Yes, in many cases it’s performative and it’s antics. I’m not paying for it, though.
Yes, in many cases this isn’t journalism we see from the independent media outlets, that’s correct. However, government subsidised corporate media is busy ignoring and denying the biggest medical scandal in human history, it’s denying medical experimentation on children happening in plain site. Corporate media whingers watched Jazz Jennings be castrated etc etc. You are not okay and trust has been irrevocably broken by that willful blindness of yours, corporate media elites.
Young people who found themselves victimised by the medical experimentation body modification cult are doing the important work investigative journalists are too afraid to do, reader. So, corporate elite media, please do refrain from lecturing me or anyone else about Ezra Levant. He’s a necessary player now because you gits refuse to engage reality, or you’ve opted for a very narrow safety band within which you function. That’s your choice and Ezra is the product of that choice. What will you do about that?
That’s a you problem, media elites, so solve it like grownups with gonads, okay?
Anyway.
I subscribe to Globe and Mail and Toronto Star and National Post and The Logic. On my fixed income I do this because information comes at a cost, and the osint tracking I do doesn’t come for free — it comes at a monetary cost, in addition to a non-monetary cost. That’s life, and I’m living it.
I’ll end by saying that I don’t think the CBC should be twice as important as CSIS.
Considering that CSIS performances a vital function and tries to keep Canadians safe, whereas CBC has devolved into an elitist scam of victimhood brain rot that repeatedly promotes misinformation and disinformation. Once upon a time, I could feel proud about the CBC, it produced some edgy investigative journalism and some worthwhile documentaries. Now, it’s a repository for promoting drag show story hour, straight males cosplaying lesbian talking smack about fake gay rights, and cross dressing men who deign to speak about women’s rights. It’s become a willing participant in the biggest medical scandal in human history. It’s become an endorser of human experimentation on children. It’s become an endorser of state-mandated rape for carceral women. It’s become an endorser of state-mandated chaperone laws for all women.
I hate what the CBC has become. Yes, that’s a strong word and I mean it.
So, I give Ezra an asshole pass for his shenanigans. Just like I give Robert Fife an asshole pass for his participation in the shenanigans of the corporate media throne room grift. Further to Musk, the reason I give him an asshole pass has to do with him having the gonads to stand up against Sex Denialism. (Pun intended). The Muskophere exists because it fulfills a need. Those who don’t like the Muskophere can feel free to meet the unmet needs rather than poo-poo them and pretend progressive brain-worm infected radicals dominating mainstream media and devouring trust is fine.
Look, I hate everyone equally. I’m an equal opportunity hater, readers. Relax, it’s a joke! Canada, hopefully we still remember and appreciate humour?
Happy long weekend holiday. I lean towards Jewishness, so Easter ain’t my jam, at its core I find it antisemitic. Yet, I understand that it’s the most important holiday for Christians, and I respect that, as long as it doesn’t devolve into the Jews killed g-d horsesh1t. Christian mysticism has its place in the world, I do get that and don’t begrudge it.
So, reader, enjoy your weekend, however you spend it.
I’ll be back here tomorrow at the Bad Hijabi Bat Channel for the last missive of the week. Stay out of trouble and see you tomorrow, reader.
I’m thankful we have Rebel News. I thought all their questions at the media scrum after the debate were excellent. It really was a breath of fresh air. Incredible the mainstream media journalists were heckling them, jeering at them and throwing paper at them. Disgraceful.
Given the CBC’s ratings, I’d hazard that your YouTube subscriptions are way cheaper than the cost per viewer of CBC.
Also, I’m with you on Easter: I’ve always considered it the cultural appropriation of Passover. Plus, rabbits don’t lay eggs, and that isn’t chocolate!
